A 2007  John Galliano Christian Dior Gypsy hobo in red leather.

After the Saddle and the Gaucho, the Gypsy took his love of romantic, bohemian dressing and turned it into something soft and slouchy: a crescent hobo with ruched leather, a hand-wrapped handle and gold "D-I-O-R" spellout charms. Red is the colourway that suits it best.

The body is supple red leather cut into a half-moon, with deep ruching gathered all around the base. The shoulder handle is made from dozens of fine leather cords, bound at the ends and wrapped tightly in leather across the top. Leather cord tassels hang from one side, carrying gold-tone letter charms that spell out D-I-O-R.

It opens with a curved gold-tone zip across the top. Inside is a black satin lining with a zip wall pocket and an open slip pocket, and a red leather Christian Dior Paris tag.

Serial code: 07-BO-1007 (Made in Italy, October 2007).

Very Good (B) - Exterior: leather is soft and the ruching holds its shape. A few small ink marks near the zip on the back. Light creasing along the zip edge.
